The lid of our generously sized, elegant porcelain soup tureen is topped by an intricately detailed pewter figural mélange of marine life. Crabs, whelks, oysters and clams seem as if they have ridden the waves and landed in an artful pile on a lustrous porcelain beach. Scott says the design was inspired by a deposit of shells he saw on a family beach outing.
Functional porcelain handles allow for easy passage of the tureen from kitchen to table. This tureen is perfect for service at a formal table or on an elegant buffet.
